Details: Beverley was arrested on an open warrant after police stopped him in his Rolls-Royce.  The warrant was issue following repeated missed court dates related to E-Z pass violations.  Beverley was taken into custody and released after paying a small fine.

Details: After leaving a Portland nightclub, Rockets forward Terrence Jones allegedly yelled ‘wake up!’ to a homeless man sleeping on the sidewalk, and then stomped violently on his leg.  Unfortunately for him, a police sergeant was nearby and witnessed the unprovoked attack.

Details: While playing for the Rockets, Hill was arrested for assaulting his girlfriend in his home.  He was subsequently traded to the Lakers the following month, and eventually pleaded no contest to misdemeanor assault charges.

Details: During a pick-up basketball game, Lowry became upset with a female referee, and hit her in the torso with the basketball.  After challenging her to a fight, he then hit her with the ball once more.  He was charged with battery about 3 months later.

Arrest Date: August 7, 2008

Age 32

Details: Alston was pulled over for driving erratically and without headlights.  Officers smelled alcohol and Alston admitted to drinking several drinks that evening.  Nevertheless, Alston was eventually acquitted in a jury trial.  See below for dashcam video of Alston’s arrest, the third of his career.

Details: Alston was arrested for stabbing a man after a minor altercation at a Manhattan nightspot.  After the two accidentally bumped each other an argument ensued, at which point Alston slashed the man in the neck, causing minor injuries.  This was Alston’s second arrest in three weeks.

Details: Alston was arrested for misdemeanor assault and public intoxication after an early-morning incident in downtown Houston.  After his vehicle was towed, Alston grabbed a parking attendant’s arm, shaking and spitting at him.

Details: Griffin was sentenced to 15 days in prison for probation violation. He was listed as a witness to a disturbance at a Houston nightclub, which is a violation of his probation because he was “consorting with disreputable people.” Griffin’s probation stemmed from a 2003 assault conviction.  This was the third of an eventual four career arrests for the late troubled star.

Details: This was the first of four NBA arrests that were racked up by the late Eddie Griffin before his drunk-driving death in 2007.  The talented but troubled star was the seventh pick in the 2001 draft and managed to stay our of trouble until late in his sophomore season.  While heading home from a game in Houston he was pulled over for speeding and not using a turn signal, at which point officers discovered a small amount of marijuana and placed him under arrest
