Details: Police in Los Angeles were called to a home for a domestic disturbance and when they attempted to check on the parties involved, Hayes tried to keep them from entering the premises. He got combative with officers and a fight broke out, with Hayes getting tased and police forced to put out an “officer needs help” radio call. Both Hayes and an officer were taken to a hospital to get treatment for minor injuries following his arrest.

Charge: Possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia

Details: Caruso was attempting to board a flight in Texas when TSA officials searched his bags and found an herb grinder that contained a small amount of marijuana. Caruso was then arrested for possession of less than two ounces of marijuana.

Details: Porter Jr was arrested after crashing his Mercedes Benz at 2am, as arriving officers discovered a loaded handgun and marijuana in his vehicle. Charges were eventually dropped the following month.

Details: Officers were called to Beasley’s residence a day earlier on a reported weapons offense. The reporting individuals told officers they had stopped their car in front of the house, and Beasley “walked up to their vehicle, tapped on the vehicle window, pointed a gun at them and advised them to get off of the property.” Police subsequently found drugs as well as multiple guns including one that was reported stolen. Beasley eventually pled guilty to felony threats of violence and sentenced to 120 days in jail.

Details: Kurucs was arrested for assaulting his girlfriend at their home in late June. Kurucs allegedly screamed, “I am going to kill myself” then put his hand around the woman’s throat and choked her. He then allegedly pushed her on the bed, slapped her in the face twice, bit her lip and pushed her into the bed frame.

Details: Holmes was pulled over in the Miami area and officers discovered a small amount of marijuana in his car. He was arrested and charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession.

Details: Jackson was arrested at a Florida music festival after repeatedly trying to enter a restricted area and ignoring officers’ orders. He was told “multiple” times he couldn’t enter the VIP area without the proper pass but continued to try to enter anyway. An officer handcuffed Jackson and took him away from the crowd, but Jackson tried to run away after the officer sat him down on a golf cart.

Charge: Assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, kidnapping, and stangulation

Details: Bird was arrested and accused of assaulting his girlfriend following an argument. She accused Bird of strangling her and throwing her against a wall. She said Bird would strangle her until she went “limp,” allow her to catch her breath and begin choking her again. She also said that Bird kicked her multiple times in the stomach and dragged her away from the door when she tried to leave before shutting her into a bathroom. She was able to escape only after Bird passed out with “seizure-like” symptoms.

Details: Smith turned himself in to police to face charges that he broke the cellphone of a fan who tried to take video of him in the middle of the night outside a Manhattan pizzeria. The charge stems from a report by a man who said he recognized Smith walking by and tried to record him using Snapchat, police said. The man alleged Smith responded by snatching away his phone and heaving it across 10th Avenue into a construction zone, breaking the screen. This is Smith’s fifth career arrest, the most of any active player.
