Details: Investigators began looking into Woods following a 2014 television report that alleged his pet pit bull was abandoned and covered in serious bite wounds.  Four months later he plead guilty to misdemeanor animal abuse to avoid more serious charges of dog fighting, and was sentenced to probation and community service.  The Blazers waived Woods immediately following his plea.

Charge: Missing a court date

Arrest Date: November 2, 2005

Franchise: Denver Nuggets

Age 29

Details: While picking up his stolen vehicle from a police impound lot, Miller was arrested for an outstanding warrant stemming from an unpaid traffic ticket.  Miller was also accused of failing to provide proof of insurance and for having ‘fictitious’ license plates.

Charge: Assault

Age 25

Details: Simmons allegedly punched and fondled a woman in his car after offering her a ride home from a Milwaukee nightclub at 2am.  He was arrested for assault but the case was ultimately dismissed four months later after investigators found conflicting accounts of the incident.

Charge: Driving under the influence

Arrest Date: September 30, 2005

Franchise: Seattle SuperSonics

Age 26

Details: Police pulled over Lewis in his BMW at 3am after he was driving one of five cars that were speeding together at speeds of up to 84 mph.  Once stopped Lewis was found to have watery eyes and slurred speech.  He subsequently failed a field sobriety test and blew a .132 and .122 on successive breath tests, above the .08 legal limit in Washington.

Charge: Unlawful possession of firearm

Age 32

Details: Henderson was arrested after attempting to board a flight at JFK International Airport with a loaded 9mm pistol inside of his suitcase.  He admitted to not having a permit or license to carry in the state of New York and was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.

Age 23

Details: Griffin was sentenced to 15 days in prison for probation violation. He was listed as a witness to a disturbance at a Houston nightclub, which is a violation of his probation because he was “consorting with disreputable people.” Griffin’s probation stemmed from a 2003 assault conviction.  This was the third of an eventual four career arrests for the late troubled star.

Details: Wilcox was pulled over at 1am after struggling to stay in his lane.  He admitted drinking but passed a field sobriety test.  A canine unit, however, uncovered an unregistered pistol in his car along with live ammunition and spent shell casings.

Details: While at a nightclub with a large entourage, Allen allegedly was involved in a disagreement with two men.  The first he punched, breaking his jaw.  He then ordered someone in his entourage to ‘fuck up’ the second man, resulting in his friend shooting and injuring him.
