Charge: Drug possession, receiving/concealing stolen property, and threats of violence

Details: Officers were called to Beasley’s residence a day earlier on a reported weapons offense. The reporting individuals told officers they had stopped their car in front of the house, and Beasley “walked up to their vehicle, tapped on the vehicle window, pointed a gun at them and advised them to get off of the property.” Police subsequently found drugs as well as multiple guns including one that was reported stolen. Beasley eventually pled guilty to felony threats of violence and sentenced to 120 days in jail.

Charge: Criminal mischief

Details: Smith turned himself in to police to face charges that he broke the cellphone of a fan who tried to take video of him in the middle of the night outside a Manhattan pizzeria. The charge stems from a report by a man who said he recognized Smith walking by and tried to record him using Snapchat, police said. The man alleged Smith responded by snatching away his phone and heaving it across 10th Avenue into a construction zone, breaking the screen.  This is Smith’s fifth career arrest, the most of any active player.

Details: Young was arrested in Hollywood during a late-night stop for a routine traffic violation and charged with delaying an investigation, a misdemeanor.  Officers say Young didn’t obey their orders, became upset and caused a delay.  No further details were provided.

Details: A day after being arrested for assault, the young Dallas rookie went to the home of the accuser and smashed her mothers’ car windows, and was arrested a second time.  He ended up never playing a single game for the Dallas Mavericks, playing only 15 total games in his NBA career.

Charge: Marijuana possession, schedule 1 drug possession

Arrest Date: July 30, 2015

Franchise: Atlanta Hawks

Age 27

Details: Scott was riding in a car with his brother when police attempted to pull them over for following too closely to other vehicles.  The vehicle failed to stop and accelerated to 98mph before eventually pulling over after a two mile pursuit.  Police found over an ounce of marijuana and 10.9 grams of a MDMA.  Scott was arrested and charged with felony drug possession.

Charge: Disorderly conduct and harrassment

Details: Antic was arrested along with teammate Thabo Sefolosha after interfering with officers outside the 1Oak nightclub in Manhattan.  This was following the stabbing of Indiana Pacer Chris Copeland moments earlier.

Details: Bell’s third arrest of 2011 came when he showed up drunk to the court hearing of his previous arrest, an October 2011 DUI.  He was also arrested for DUI in February of that year, and his wife was arrested in May for allegedly stabbing Bell with a box cutter.

Details: Sullinger turned himself in several days after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend following an argument after she found evidence on his cell phone that he was cheating on her.  His girlfriend started packing her bags to leave when Sullinger pushed her onto a bed, pinned her, and tossed her onto the ground before smashing her cell phone.
