Details: Mason was spotted early one morning in the Times Square area of New York City involved in a loud argument with a woman. When police intervened to try to calm the situation, Mason attacked them, three of whom suffered minor injuries. This was one of at least four assault-related arrests for Mason during his NBA career.
Dumas, Tony
Charge: Assault on pregnant woman

Details: Dumas was arrested after assaulting his 4-month pregnant girlfriend. While driving in North Dallas late one evening, the two began arguing, at which point Dumas began beating her repeatedly until she dived from the slowly moving vehicle to escape. This was Dumas’ second arrest of 1996.
Wallace, Rasheed

Details: While a young rookie with the Washington Bullets, Wallace violated a restraining order by visiting his child’s mother during a dispute over visitation rights. He was charged with misdemeanor assault. This was the first of two career arrests for Wallace.
Strickland, Rod

Details: Strickland allegedly had an argument with a woman at which point he punched her in the face, giving her a black eye. Strickland and the victim have a young child together. This was the second of six career arrests for Strickland.

Details: A domestic disturbance was reported at Pippen’s home, and when police arrived his wife accused him of grabbing her by the arm and pushing her against their vehicle. Pippen was arrested and charged with misdemeanor battery. This was Pippen’s second of three career arrests.
