Details: Several hours after a playing in home loss against the Atlanta Hawks, Strickland was spotted in his gold Mercedes-Benz running three red lights and straddling two traffic lanes. He was pulled over and arrested after failing a roadside sobriety test. Strickland had just come off of probation three weeks earlier from a prior DUI arrest in 1997. This was the fourth of an incredible six arrests for Strickland during his NBA career, including three for driving under the influence.
Pippen, Scottie
Charge: Driving under the influence

Details: Pippen was pulled over at about 1:30am after running a red light. After suspecting him of being intoxicated, police administered a field sobriety test which Pippen failed. He refused a breathalyzer test and was arrested for driving under the influence, his third career arrest.

Details: Gray was pulled over for minor traffic violations, at which point officers found marijuana and an open alcohol container in the car. He was also found to have been driving with a suspended license, and was placed under arrest.

Details: Police said Strickland was stopped early Wednesday after making an illegal left turn in downtown Washington and became a “little disorderly.” He is also charged with failing to show his driver’s license. Strickland refused a sobriety test. This was the third of six arrests during Strickland’s pro career, and the first of three arrests for driving under the influence.

Details: Howard’s only career arrest came after he was pulled over at 3:45am for speeding in his Mercedes. He subsequently failed a sobriety test and was arrested for driving under the influence.
Campbell, Elden

Details: Campbell was drunk driving in Los Angeles late in the evening and was involved in a single car accident on the freeway. He was speeding and managed to roll his car, luckily avoiding serious injury. This was his first career arrest, he was subsequently arrested again about four years later.

Details: Celtics reserve guard Charles Smith was arrested for drunkenly mowing down two Boston University students in the middle of campus with his van, and fleeing onto the interstate. He was convicted a year later, ending his NBA career. He bounced around the CBA for another decade, most recently making news after being shot while in possession of cocaine in 2010.
