Details: Coleman was pulled over in North Carolina and after police let him go they realized his license had been suspended due to a DWI arrest the previous year.  A warrant was put out and he was arrested the following day.

Details: Benjamin returned home after a game and got into an argument with his girlfriend when she asked him to buy diapers for their child and he refused. When Benjamin returned home later he found his girlfriend locked in the couple’s bedroom. He broke down the door and grabber her around the throat and slapped her, claiming that since he paid the bills she couldn’t lock any doors against him.

Details: Walker was spotted in Ohio speeding on his motorcycle, and when officers signaled for him to pull over he fled, accelerating to 100mph.  He finally pulled over only after a police helicopter shined a spotlight on him.  He was charged with reckless driving, fleeing an officer, and driving with an expired license.

Charge: Cocaine & marijuana possession

Details: Mack fled from officers in his Range Rover after they attempted to stop him for speeding.  After a brief chase that ended in front of his mother’s home, he was found in possession of 20 individually wrapped bags of marijuana, one rock of cocaine, a digital scale and more than $2,800 in small bills.

Charge: Inciting a riot, battery on a police officer, and resisting arrest

Arrest Date: July 3, 2000

Details: While in the New Orleans French Quarter, a group of men including Mason was seen in an argument over women in the street with another group.  Officers attempted to separate the groups when Mason allegedly hit one of the officers and began rallying the crowd. He was then pepper sprayed and fled into the crowd before eventually being arrested a short time later.

Details: Stevenson set an almost unbreakable record for fastest arrest since becoming a pro, getting arrested on the night of the draft for brawling during a high school basketball game.  Within several hours after being drafted 23rd in the first round by the Jazz, Stevenson and as many as twenty others participated in the melee.

Details: Traylor was arrested after being pulled over driving a car that had been reported stolen.  The owner said he had lent the car to Traylor’s Bucks teammate Tim Thomas for a test drive and it was never returned.  It was unclear how the car ended up with Traylor.  The owner ultimately dropped the charges.

Details: Buford’s third run-in with the law in a year started with him getting pulled over for tinted windows in Miami.  Officers then smelled marijuana and discovered the drug upon searching the vehicle.  Buford’s NBA career was short lived, and he later was repeatedly suspended in European leagues for failing drug tests.
