Details: While in the New Orleans French Quarter, a group of men including Mason was seen in an argument over women in the street with another group. Officers attempted to separate the groups when Mason allegedly hit one of the officers and began rallying the crowd. He was then pepper sprayed and fled into the crowd before eventually being arrested a short time later.

Details: Stevenson set an almost unbreakable record for fastest arrest since becoming a pro, getting arrested on the night of the draft for brawling during a high school basketball game. The owner ultimately dropped the charges.

Details: Buford’s third run-in with the law in a year started with him getting pulled over for tinted windows in Miami. Officers then smelled marijuana and discovered the drug upon searching the vehicle. Buford’s NBA career was short lived, and he later was repeatedly suspended in European leagues for failing drug tests.

Details: Williams was cited and charged with reckless driving in Sacramento. Kings teammate Chris Webber was driving in a separate car in the area, and was pulled over and charged at the scene, while Williams drove away but was later charged with reckless driving as well.

Details: Webber was pulled over and charged with reckless driving in Sacramento. Kings teammate Jason Williams was driving in a separate car in the area, and drove away from the scene but was later charged with reckless driving as well. This was the second arrest for Webber, his first coming with the Wizards two years earlier.

Details: Wesley was racing in Charlotte in a car alongside his friend and teammate Bobby Phils when Phils’ Porsche lost control and crashed, killing him instantly. The car Wesley was driving was not involved in the accident. He later was convicted of reckless driving for taking part in the fatal race.
