Charge: Unlawful possession of a firearm, attempting to carry a pistol without a license

Details: Crittenton was the other player involved in the famous Gilbert Arenas gun fiasco in 2010.  The two of them brought unloaded pistols into the Wizards locker room and brandished them during a confrontation over gambling debts on Christmas Eve 2009.  He eventually was arrested and plead guilty to unlawful and unlicensed gun possession and received probation.  He was also suspended for the remainder of the 2009-2010 NBA season, and never played in the NBA again. Two years later, in 2011, he was arrested for murder for allegedly gunning down a man he mistakenly thought had robbed him.  Then while out on bond in 2014, he was again arrested and charged with selling hundreds of pounds of cocaine and marijuana.

Details: Arenas was famously arrested after it was disclosed that he brought an unloaded pistol into the Wizards locker room and brandished it during a confrontation over gambling debts with teammate Javaris Crittenton on Christmas Eve 2009.  He eventually was arrested and charged with carrying an unlicensed pistol and was suspended for the remainder of the 2009-2010 NBA season. Details: Blatche was pulled over in Virginia for driving 86 mph in a 70 mph zone, and was found to have a suspended license from a previous driving infraction.  This was Blatche’s third arrest in a three year span.

Details: While in Miami for Urban Beach Week, Storey and Wizards teammate Gilbert Arenas attracted the attention of police after Storey was spotted walking in the middle of a busy street.  When Storey refused to get out of the street, officers began to arrest him for disobeying police. At this point, Arenas showed up and tried to intervene, and was arrested for the same charge.

At this point, Arenas showed up and tried to intervene, and was arrested for the same charge. As Arenas was arrested, according to the police report, he said: “You can’t arrest me. I’m a basketball player. I play for the Washington Wizards and I’m not going to leave my teammate.”

Details: Brown was pulled over at 3am after officers observed his Hummer weaving and crossing the center line.  He failed a roadside sobriety test and was found to have a blood-alcohol level of .147, above the legal limit of .08.  This was the second of three career arrests for Brown.

Details: Stackhouse was arrested for assault at a North Carolina beach home he was renting after he allegedly grabbed the female property manager.  They were arguing over the terms of the lease agreement and he reached for the contract but accidentally grabbed her arm.  She felt threatened and called police.

Details: Kwame Brown, the former #1 draft pick, may be considered a bust, but he is an NBA crime all-star.  In 2002 he received his first of three career arrests by getting busted for speeding after racing another driver at 120mph through a construction zone. He ultimately lost his license for this infraction, but still managed to get a DUI just over a year later.
