Details: This was the first of four NBA arrests that were racked up by the late Eddie Griffin before his drunk-driving death in 2007. The talented but troubled star was the seventh pick in the 2001 draft and managed to stay our of trouble until late in his sophomore season. While heading home from a game in Houston he was pulled over for speeding and not using a turn signal, at which point officers discovered a small amount of marijuana and placed him under arrest

Details: Gray was pulled over for minor traffic violations, at which point officers found marijuana and an open alcohol container in the car. He was also found to have been driving with a suspended license, and was placed under arrest.

Details: Early in the morning a man was seen standing in the middle of the street and blocking traffic. When he refused to move he was placed under arrest. Grant, along with fellow pro Tyrone Hill, were with him at the time and interfered with the arrest. Grant was arrested after refusing to leave the scene.

Groza, Alex

Details: Groza and fellow Olympians teammate Ralph Beard were arrested after their involvement in a point-shaving incident two years earlier while playing college basketball at the University of Kentucky. Along with a third Kentucky teammate, Groza and Beard accepted $500 each from gamblers to keep a game versus Loyola within the point spread of 10. While trying to keep the score close, they accidentally lost to Loyola.
